morning news. in all six states held primaries tonight. clinton scored victories in new jersey, next and south dakota. sanders won in montana and clinton won in california. >> on the republican side donald trump is expected to win the projected in six states and has more than enough delegates to clinch the nomination. >> let's look at how people are voting in california. donald trump has 77% of the vote and kasich and cruz 11% and 8% are no longer running, but they withdrew too late to have their names removed from the ballot. >> and now let's go to cornell bernard. >> he is at a gop watch party. cornell? >> dan and ama, it is not always easy to find republicans in san francisco, but they gathered to watch donald trump and talk about party unity. >> this is $1 million for done trump. >> he is putting his funny money behind trump.

convention is about six weeks away. cornell bernard, abc7 news. >> cornell, thanks a lot. here is a map showing all of the primaries. california, montana, new jersey, new mexico and south dakota. as we said, he was not facing any competition. >> we want to move on to the race to replace barbara boxer. she is retiring after 24 years in office. >> that's right. based on the returns we have so far here is what we know. harris has 42% of the vote and sanchez has 16%. now this is an open primary race which means the voters can pick candidates from any party. the top two vote getters will advance to the general election and harris has already clinched one of the spots on the november ballot. that's why the red triangle is next to her name. >> and laura anthony is in san francisco tonight. >> camela harris spoke to her supporters not long ago. >> hi, dan. the party here is clearly over, but there was a
celebration earlier tonight. camela harris has been the front runner and she has never really looked back. she came out after 10:00 this evening and speaking to her supporters in san francisco. she went for the district attorney to the office of attorney general of california. now it appears she has a good chance of becoming the second african-american woman to be a u.s. senator. >> we have run a campaign and we will continue to run a campaign that is about fighting for the ideals of our country and reminding folks of that great promise we articulated and we should be treated as equals. it will be about reminding people that we reject those people that talk about us versus them. we are going to win this u.s. senate seat because we are going up and down the state of of california and asking every voter and every place to come out and vote for us.

tax in nine bay area counties. >> a two-thirds vote is required and right now measure aa has 69% of the vote and again with two-thirds vote required. >> the fastest way to get results is download the abc7 gnaws app -- abc7 news app. >> turning to other news, in michigan at least five bicyclist are dead after a a group thatrash. goes on weekly ride in a township just south of grand rapid. the driver ran away after crash of police later caught and arrested him. witnesses say he was driving erratically just before the crash. new details on a crash that critically injured an 8-year-old girl. she was walking with her mother on saturday afternoon when her motorcyclist hit them. she went to the hospital with head injuries.
today policed burgos on felony dui, hit-and-run and reckless driving charges. a full-fledged recall campaign has been launched to oust the judge who grave the stanford students six months in jail for sexual assault. hundreds of thousands have signed a change .org recall petition seeking to remove the judge who handed down a sentence for brock turner, a former stanford turner. a recall campaign has been lawfned and 70,000 -- launched and 70,000 signatured are needed. they believe a light sentence creates more trauma. >> to go through the offense and the trauma and the experience and then go through court to have that happen is like a second rape. >> the judge happens to be up for re-election, but did not appear on the ballot today because he is running unopposed. if the recall goes through he could be the first sitting judge to be removed from the bench in 20 years. tonight the san francisco fire department is trying to
figure out how a woman bypassed an anti-theft system to steal a city ambulance this morning. she took the ambulance from paramedics who were responding to a call and she took it on a wild, out of control call and crashed on the bay bridge and it burst into flames. the woman was not hurt and was taken into custody a very strange incident today of. our weather, a little bit of a relief if you don't like the hot weather. >> it was a great day to go to the polls. a little mild and breezy. sandhya patel is here with the forecast. >> i think people voted in favor of the cooler weather. it was a natural ac that helped bring the temperatures down. and they will continue to do so. live doppler 7hd is showing how extensive the low clouds are. they pushed into san jose. the temperatures are in the 50s and the 60s. a live look from our abc7 news exploratorium camera.
